Friends University Track and field and cross country

From the coach

At Friends University, we believe that the TEAM comes first. We recognize that track and field is a highly individualized sport but the ultimate goal of every season is to win the team conference championship. Communication with your coaching staff is KEY to earning both individual and team success!

In order for the team to achieve excellence, every athlete must improve and find some measure of success during the season, and success comes in different forms for each athlete. It may be winning a national title for one athlete, or scoring a point at conference for another. We must all have INDIVIDUAL goals in order for us to achieve TEAM success. We have added high competition opportunities to our schedule to get the best out of each and every one of you.

We believe in the university' s RISE values: Respect, Inclusion, Service, and Excellence. We will strive to adhere to these values with everything that we do on the track as well as in the community.
